There are no idle hands here...lol. Today I stayed busy puttering!! I am ready for Christmas, so today I played. But, things needed for after holidays. I pin basted this log cabin, customer quilt to be machine quilted.
This quilt is about 96 x120...
Then I started a quilt I've been wanting to make. I will putter over Christmas with this. Here is the first block...with fabric purchased from Spruce it up Quilting...hi Lorrette!!!! And Kona Linen for background.
And, I have this crib quilt finished. This was a win from Quilter's Way, a kit...thanks so much guys. I really like it. So nicely colourful!

We are at the end of our challenge already. I did miss last month....was a hectic month for me. Please take a look here...http://quiltshopgal.com/2015-free-motion-quilting-challenge-december-challenge-with-wendy-sheppard-and-grand-prize-info/ to see more pillows.
Our professional instructor this month is Wendy Sheppard. Wendy is such a very nice person, and great teacher. I've taken a class of hers, and that is the option I chose for this one. This is from Wendy's first Learn to Machine Quilt class...I still have to sign up for the next level.
I used a continuous vine here and swirls around the border of my pillow.

Not much sewing going on, but I finished this one in time for a friend to give it to her Mom for Christmas.
She bought the fabric for this , and it is very nice! Has fleece on the back, which her Mom will love.
She is in a nursing home with Alzheimer's.
I machine quilted this on my Tiara...quilted the pineapple pattern and loops on the borders. She loves frogs, and will snuggle with these for a long time to come.

Here we are again!!!! Works in progress are adding up here. I have finished the one I showed you last time. Actually, I am binding it right now.
Poor lighting, but trying to show you the picos on the edge. Another view...
Peek at the back...
I have the nail polish quilt all pieced....
Love these boots!!!!
I did machine quilt the I Spy quilt but neglected to take a picture.
I picked up another commissioned quilt from a neighbour...no pics yet, but I will be machine quilting it soon. I will show you then....it's a gift for her Mom for Christmas.
It may kill me, but I won't be hand quilting again until after Christmas!!! I need to give my back some rest...having problems lately. So, hoping a good rest will cure that. I have one customer quilt waiting til then...and lots of my own.
I think I've run out of air, lol. I know hard to believe!! Ohhhh, I had a very nice lunch yesterday with my sewing buddies. We are all so busy right now...this was our little Christmas get together. Lots of laughs!

Hello everyone...been a couple of weeks since I posted. Life gets in the way sometimes, but today I had a nice productive day! Time to show what I am working on...
Last time, I had just started this quilt...I am now 3/4 finished hand quilting it.
This morning, I finished machine quilting this one....bound it after supper.
Another view...I quilted this by the block and did a little ruler work around the blocks.
This is actually a chartreuse green..like celery on the back, but lighting is not helping.
Here is one of the rows on the nail polish quilt top....
Well...part of a row. I am appliqueing purses and boots on the alternating blocks.
And this is a little I Spy quilt ready to be machine quilted for a customer.
No rest for the wicked!!!!! Lol. And I love it!!!!!!!
That's it for me this time around...have a great week!

Thank you going out to Marian for hosting another fun hop for all of us. We have missed our
hopping, you know! Well, today is my day, and I have a couple of little items to show you today.
First up, is following the theme of our title for this one...and I created a little snow family for you.
I used the Accuquilt circle die and the Accuquilt Christmas Medley die for this pillow...And this
family love each other...sending heartfelt thoughts! It was really fun to make this little pillow.
Now, my next piece is something that my sewing group decided to try. We gave the Lil' Twister
tool a try and it went very well.
I quilted it on the Tiara with Glide Prickly Pear thread....I love how it has that sheen!! Just a few
more pictures to show you.

Hello folks....having a great week so far. As Marla said in her post; we had a fantastic day yesterday with a group of ladies...sewing at the church. It's a job keeping Marla in line, but we managed...lol
Today, a customer picked up her finished quilt that she pieced for her grandson...and we got her sewing machine working for her. Here is the quilt I finished hand quilting and bound for her...the second one done for her this fall.
And the previous one.....
I put this customer quilt in to be hand quilted this afternoon...
I am ready for the Christmas blog hop starting on Thursday...my day is Friday. I sure hope Friday the 13 th is smooth!!!!!
Here is my design wall...yes, I have one!! My sewing buddies got me one in July for my birthday!!!
Ten bottles of nail polish now...I think that is it. I will alternate with a plain block and border...I think.
And, I have a small start on an I Spy quilt...just wall, hanging size.

Hello folks...been a couple of weeks since I posted my works in progress. I am linking up to Monkia over here...http://needleandthreadnetwork.blogspot.com/2015/11/wip-wednesday-217-tn.html
Now, I have a few things going on that are keeping me occupied. First off...
I finished this one on Sunday evening..belongs to my friend, Rose. Close up...
This one is in the frames now...it belongs to the same lady that I did one for a few weeks ago.
I am also working on a nail polish quilt...you might remember, my friend Marla made one a while back. I just loved it! I have most of the pieces cut out now, and will work on it next Monday when a group of us get together to sew for the day.
And, finally, blocks for my 100 club quilt..disappearing nine patch.
Hmmmmm....I think that's it for now!!!! I do have several quilt tops of my own to get started on. I might pin baste one this week, and get that going.
Have a good week, and take care!

I'm baaaaack...lol, with my entry in the machine quilted category,
Amy is generously hosting this for us...one energetic lady!!!! Thanks Amy.....I appreciate this.
For this category I am going to show the quilt that I made my grandson...actually, I made 3 of them.
I made this one, one in green, and one in black....they loved them! I machine quilted it on my Tiara.
Stats: Hockey Quilt....68"x88"...cottons..machine quilted.
Thanks for your visit and hoping for your votes....
This time around I am entering my Churn Dash quilt, which I made a little while ago. I hand quilted it myself...which I always do! This quilt measures 90"x102" and is pieced with Bella Solids. It was done as a quilt along with our local fabric shop...Fabric Cupboard. We do one every year together...so much fun!
Quilt Stats: Churn Dash....90x102 inches...Bella Solids(cotton)...hand quilted by me.
It is bound in the green, just neglected to take a picture after that.
I hope you enjoy the quilt festival everyone....don't forget to visit as many as you can. There is a lot of work invested in this. Thank you!!!!
