Bowls with Borders Blog Hop ! and Giveaway!

Wow!!!  The day is finally here, and I am one of the first day participants. I feel so lucky and privileged to be here among the rest of these folks. I sure hope you all enjoy this hop!!LINK here for Complete Schedule

First off; I want to thank Madame Samm and Carol over at  Just Let Me Quilt for getting this together. And we can't forget Regina for letting us have her pattern. Love these ladies, don't we????

I am not used to paper piecing; so it was a bit of a challenge for me to do these bowls.  But I did manage to get it together....lol.  I decided to make a table runner with my bowls. I used scraps from my stash; so each bowl is different. I FMQ it with Essential thread from Connecting Threads. And that I'm not good at either...lol. but did it anyway. There are a few little appliques to fill in empty spaces...  So; here is my contribution to 'Bowls with Borders'.

This is the full view of the table runner....next is showing it in sections up closer.

and a little peek at the back...

Now; I did mention a giveaway didn't I.  Here it is....Sassy for Moda Charm Pack.

To Enter: 1. Simply leave a comment here telling me where you are from; simple as that.
                2. Followers get a 2nd entry: old or new....leave a comment to let me know.
Good luck everyone!!!!!  I'll draw a random winner on the 29th....

Here is a list of the blogs taking part for today:
August 13th
For the whole list  you can go here; enjoy folks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  18. Hi, Marjorie. You did a fabulous job with those blocks. Paper piecing is a challenge (I teach it and I hear it from my students), but the results are DIVINE! The points match and we love that part. My favorite part of your quilt is not the blocks (tho they are gorgeous), but that awesome diamond border!!! That is a real "gem" and makes the center stand out even more. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work.
